This skirt is made of Nike’s DRYfit material, which is a blend of polyester and spandex, for maximum moisture wicking benefits. It is more of a skort as it has an internal compression short and flat waistband. There is an expandable back pocket to carry everything from your keys to your iPod, and other small essentials. Your running motion may be adjusted due to no slits in he front to allow flexibility.
New Balance Bonita Running Skirt
You could probably call this skirt actually a skort, as it has a 3.5 inch compression short. For better motion, the skirt has two slits in the front, to prevent bunching and stretching across your legs. Unlike other running skirts, there is only one waistband in the Bonita, and it comes in a variety of fashionable colors.
Zoot RUNfit running Skirt
With contrasting trim, the style and color of this Zoot skirt is a great look. The outer shell is lightweight mesh, good for real hot weather running. The inner lining is made of nylon compression short, with a two-inch inseam. To reduce the weight, the only storage is a key pocket.
Birnfit Wilder Running Skort
The greatest feature if this skort is the wide waistband; it is very comfortable and supportive. It is designed right, as it is not too long, lightweight, and the style is mesh shell over an integrated compression short. The only pocket is one key pocket.
Junonia Plus Size QuikWik Power Play Skirt
Skirts are a favorite among those that have wider hips or are a bit larger, as the skirt material lays across the legs and somewhat hides any area you are self-conscious of. The fabric is just as moisture wicking as any other, and has well-placed slits in the front to help your running motion. You will find an inner pocket on both sides. Since this skirt was modeled after a tennis skirt, the pockets open downwards, to hold tennis balls…okay, not that useful for running, but they still work.

A bit old-fashioned looking, as it comes in a ruffed design. It is an inexpensive skirt, and its nickname is named after the famed Hood to Coast Relay. For you audiophiles, it has a specifically-designed iPod pocket as well.
