Half Marathon Coaching
Whether it’s a stepping stone to running a full marathon distance event, or simply the next chapter in accomplishments, I can help you complete a half marathon. Though it really only is a continuation of your 5K training, it involves more intensive running workouts.
It is important to keep in mind that every bit of your training has a purpose. I should point out that you can tell finishers who have trained properly and those who just showed up. Granted, there will be those troopers who were injured and still found the guts and motivation to participate, but most of those walking across the line were simply under and poorly trained.
I would like to offer you the opportunity to be properly coached.
Who is this program designed for?
This program is designed for those who have been exposed to running and can comfortably run at least a 5K. If you struggle through a 5K, this program may be too intensive for you. Other than that, you should be able to follow the weekly training workouts. There is no other requirement, outside of making sure you have seen your physician and have been cleared to participate in such a program.
My Experience and Philosophy
I will personally customized a half-marathon training program, which will cover 16 weeks. My nearly fifteen years of running experience and several years of coaching will allow me to setup a routine fit specifically based on your present fitness level and your goals. I truly believe that not all runners are created equal. Everyone has a ‘hitch’, and runs at a different pace, and have different goals. Regardless of your ambitions, I will cater to your individuality.
The Program
Your individualized program will encompass a variety of different running techniques and workouts. You will NOT just be purchasing a training schedule; those you can probably find anywhere. With my program, the schedule will be tailored to your needs and I will be available throughout your personalized training session.
You will have unlimited correspondence with me throughout your training.
Incorporated into your training program will be an array of different running workouts. Pending your fitness level and experience, your program may include steady distance runs, hill-repeats, speed sessions, and lactic threshold runs. Some of the highlights of the training materials will have the importance of strength training, dieting, and other fitness-related topics.

How it Works
Upon signing up, I will have you fill-out a participant questionnaire. which will ask questions about your present fitness level to the goals you have set for yourself. After which, we will setup our initial consultation where I want to learn more about you and this will also provide you the opportunity to ask some initial questions. I will then work to develop your personalized training schedule. Throughout the program, when you have a question, simply email me; I will get back to you within 24-hours, usually its the same day.
